 UPCOMING EVENTS FROM THE FRIENDS
(TO BE UPDATED SOON)

The mission of the Friends is to support the Library in developing its collections, facilities, and services for the community.  They also wish to encourage gifts and bequests to the library and to stimulate public support and use of the Library.  The Friends have regularly hosted events such as plant, bake, and book sales.  These events provide funds for enhancing library programming such as reading groups, summer story time, and special presentations by local authors and artists. If you wish to become a Friend, please let us know! (The more the merrier)!

The Friends also hold an on-going book sale which runs year round.  Hardcover books sell for $1.00 and paperbacks sell for $.50.  Audio and video tapes are also $1.00 each.  It's well worth your time to check it out.

Bookplates are also for sale by The Friends.  You may purchase them for $10.00 each.  They will be placed in any book in the library in memory - or in honor of - a special person or yourself.

The Friends continue to provide the means to host a special Story Time Event too.  This year we are expecting musician/storyteller Steve Blunt.  He has thoroughly delighted our children, grandchildren, and parents with his songs and stories.  All members of our community are welcome to join the Friends of the Holderness Library.

Friends helped create this beautiful space for children

The Friends meet quarterly and they hold occasional planning meetings throughout the year.  To learn more, please call the library at 968-7066.

Reminder:  Our Outreach program is still available.  If you need materials delivered/returned, please contact us. This effort is often coordinated through Meals-on-Wheels and the Pemi Baker Health Group.
