Library Cards

Residents who pay taxes in the town of Holderness have free library borrowing privileges.

Visitors and non-residents may get a library card for the cost of $10.00 per year.

Loan Periods

Books               2 weeks
Audio Books     2 weeks
DVD/VHS       1 week
Periodicals      1 week

Policy for Overdue Items

2 weeks overdue, patron will receive a phone call
4 weeks overdue, patron will receive a postcard
6 weeks overdue, patron will receive a letter with the cost of replacement and have borrowing privileges revoked until item is returned, paid for, or replaced.

*Holderness Library does not charge fines, we do however appreciate the prompt return of items from the collection

Accessing the Library On-Line

Our Library Catalog and the State Library Catalog may be searched from home, school or office.

Book Sale Room

The Friends of the Library sponsor an ongoing book sale located in the downstairs of the library. Many children's books are available for purchase, as well as audio books, VHS tapes, and DVDs.
